This post is mostly for my family back home in Utah...Tad, myself, Kensley, and Trey are here in Orlando, Florida celebrating Kensley's "5th" birthday!!!
First of all, I cannot believe that my baby girl is turning 5 years old tomarrow!! Where did the past 5 years go?
Secondly, We did arrive safely after what seemed to be a very long day of travel. Waking up two kids at 5:00 a.m. is not super pleasant. They did a great job on the flight with a little help in the entertainment department. Once we arrived we ate dinner and went straight to bed. The next morning (monday) we woke up around 7:30 a.m. (Orlando time) and started getting ready for a very excieting day with Elder Tyler Carn. We had rented a car for the day and planned to drive (what we thought was going to be a 2 1/2 hr. drive) to Sunny Isles, Fl. Once we typed in the address to our location into the GPS system we were off. Not more then 20 mins. into the drive Kensley started throwing up all over herself and the backseat. At that time we pulled over, cleaned up the mess and headed on our way once again. Both kids fell asleep and took a good nap which helped out a bit. We drove for about 4 hrs, finally reaching our destination. We then thought we were where we were supposed to be meeting Ty and his companion for lunch. (so we thought) HA, HA!! We drove around what seemed to be the whole city (45 more mins) And there it was...the restaurant FLANINGANS. Ty and his comp had been waiting for us for about 1 1/2 hrs. WOW!! That was longer then we had thought but I gotta tell ya, It was so worth the drive down there. Tyler looked so good, and so super happy! He has a great companion and they are serving the lord whole heartedly. We spent about 1 1/2 hrs. with them and then had to say goodbye. It was so good to see him and so good to see how happy he really is. He is defineatly content with the work he is doing. He told us to say that he loves everyone and misses everyone but is not ready to come home.
